Transfer time calculator

Data amount ÷ transfer rate = transfer time, recalculated live as you type.
Transfer rates are quoted as binary values (1 Mbps = 1024 Kbps). "-bps" means bits per second, "-Bps" means Bytes per second. For data amount, choose between decimal (e.g. MB) or binary (e.g. MiB) units, or one of the media-capacity presets.
For reference, a typical modem is 56 kbps and broadband ranges from 128 kbps to 25 Mbps (commonly 1-5 Mbps). Runs entirely in your browser - nothing is sent to the server.
